Our new pastor Jim Gill is a native Houstonian. He is a graduate of the University of Houston where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and of the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity and his Doctor of Ministry degrees. He's been married to Anne since 1976 and they are the proud parents of two children, Andrew (est. 1983) and Abbey (est. 1989). Jim was ordained to the ministry of Word and Sacraments in 1978 while serving as a campus minister, and since has served as an Associate Pastor at St. Andrew's Presbyterian in Houston, as the pastor of St. Andrew Presbyterian in San Antonio, John Knox Presbyterian in Houston, and as the founding pastor of Peace Presbyterian in Pearland prior to coming to Tomball.
